Sup fags. Man I've missed you guys so fucking much man. I've finally have time to write to you. the only time I can write is on friken Sunday, because it's church day and the drill instructors here lets us have free time to write, other than that, I'll have to write it in the A.M. Anyways, it's a torture in here. I or...we, have to wake up everyday at 4:30 AM and sleep at 9 or 8 PM. Monday to Saturday is all training. Running, Marching, Cleaning and so on. In boot camp, we have phases to complete, I am in the 2nd phase. 1st month is the 1st phase 2nd month for 2nd phase, ya know. Man, I just wanna get out of here now, it's very similar to jail in here.

Why? because we have drill instructors making you drink waters until you throw up everyday and the screams in your face. You're always hungry and tired, it's all about mental.

Oh, and yes, there's no frinken cigarretes here, man...how much I've missed that. All we eat here is American food, morning we got scramble egg, becan, pancakes, EVERY DAY!!! Dinner and lunch we got bread, spaggeti and some other sheit.

Back to 2nd phase thing, for 1st phase we were at San Diego. MCRD. for 2nd phase, we're moved to camp pendleton. Pretty much 1st phase is to train Marching, in here, 2nd phase we get to train how to shoot Rifles, we all get to finally shoot our M16A2 service rifles, and we also do a lot of hiking.

Dude, hiking is hella crazy, we've just hiked like 5 miles yesterday, carrying like 60 pound baggage on my back with the rifles, man, was I tired.

Okay some of you may know the NIKE Laser project, it's basically a new technology that NIKE introduced to kinda "micro" carve the shoes with very sophisticated details. Several shoe models were used for laser project, including Dunk, Cortez, and Air Force I...

Laser I's : Laser Dunk "Surfer" by Chris Lundy

1st series were a bit crazy, Dunk was used as model; laser graphic by Chirs Lundy, titled "Surfer"

Extra's: Genuine Premium Leather Upper, Metal Lace Ring, and somehow a better cushioning, not sure if it's Zoom Air from SB's but it sure is better than regular dunks...

This is the europe version, I think this pair is made less than the pair above, which means it's more expensive, I don't know how much but ya I think a lot...

Here's a regular dunk for comparison, apparently to save leather material nike decided to use "one piece" leather on the Chris Lundy laser dunks.

Laser I Dunk "100 bucks" by Michael Desmond.

This other dunk is also very rare and limited, 200 pairs world-wide laster Dunk designed by Michael Desmond, I name it "100 bucks" because it looks like a 100 dollar bill lol

However, the price of this one ain't no 100 bucks; since only 200 pairs were made, the resell price gone sky high to about $300 to $500 depending on the shoe size...way to go NIKE

Laser I : Air Force I by Mark Smith

I'm not that fond of this one, here's the pic, I don't like AFI in general. Although AF is truly an original that NIKE first featured to have the "AIR SOLE" but then it makes the outsole too thick and fat; the whole shape of AFI is also kinda sharp so ya bye bye.

LASER SERIES II:

Nike Dunk Laser Pack II by Michael Desmond

Apparently I own this pair. This is it man, this is how it all started, one day off work I decided to browse for some cool looking shoes and I saw the Dunks in Serramonte I think. So I was like "hmm this shoes looks tight" so I went on and search for Dunks; and then I saw this pair in a Japanese website(priced over 3,5000 yan), I was immediately drawn to it. So there I went, stayed up all night at eBay and finally found a "reasonable" price and bought it; funny thing is, the seller is actually my classmate in Accounting class...haha.

This dunk is also desgined by Michael Desmond, the graphics are cleaner than the first series "100 bucks" that he designed, and I love the brownish look to it, the quality definately tops off any other dunks on the market.

Okay so I didn't do any homework this weekend, procrastination(funny how I can't remember the spelling though it's the word that suits me most) awakening.

Supreme X Nike Dunk Low SB

This particular dunk SB was released back in 2002, as a collaboration between Supreme NYC + NIKE, one of the most sought-after pair among Dunk lovers.

The colors are exclusively designed by Supreme, what I love the most about this pair is definately the "elephant print" taken from the Air Jordan III's, there is just one word for it: "Dope"

Supreme is this skateboard shop that sells extremely over priced items, a Supreme t-shirt can easily go over $60. The price of this pair shot up immediately to close to $700, which is pretty fucking crazy. However, the price cooled down to about $400 and up. The reason why it is so expensive is that first, they are very limited, there are only 2 Supreme shops in the world, located in manhatthan, NY and the other Tokyo, Japan, and second, wtf? a t shirt for over $60, the shoes are logically up there.

HOWEVER, wtf man? I'm not gonna spend freaking $400+ for a pair of damn shoes(you never know but hey...) Luckily I was able to spot this pair at Yahoo! Taiwan auctions. Fakes? I don't think they're that fake because it's pretty much 99% real and I've never had a real pair anyway. This pair is good enough for me, for the price 5 times less than $400...shieeeeeeeeeeeet.

Processes:

1.5 hours into work....

pretty much had an idea of how it looks, fixing details here and there; eventually I went "Fuck it" on the feet and all that; the girl's right hand took me an hour at least. She's supposed to kind of touch the flower, but it just wouldn't seem natural and elegant. The guy was a quick sketch and done deal.

3 hours into work:

Colors!!! Unlike Photoshop, I can't really undo my mistakes, so I handled my brushes with 100% concentration for each and every stroke. Still some mistakes were made(cuz some annoying ppl were playing video games in my room) but this only marks 3 hours of completion. Quite worried about the girl's dress colors...

5  + hours into work...

Completed, everything was pretty much done. I added 2 or 3 more layers so it added more integrity and solidity to it. Overall I was very satisfied with it since I haven't touched watercolor in months.

Second day....

Well, with a little help from Photoshop I enhanced the colors up a bit; also brightens and more contrast. And finally I'm freed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
