So... Enough about Michael Jackson. Call me an ass if you must, but for the last 24 hours, this is all the media has been covering ON EVERY CHANNEL! Great performer, fantastic artist, tragic death, enough said. We have bigger problems in the world i.e. North Korea. Anyone else feel this way? The world literally came to a stand still following the new of his death. (Hypothetical situation)If a person who didn't know Michael Jackson were to see the world mourn his death, they would think Jackson must have been more important that Princess Diana. It makes me sick to my stomach to see media dedicating countless hours to Jackson coverage for ratings. No, I'm not hating on him, I grew up listening to his music and watching his videos, however, society behaves as if they lost a loved one. Not one of us knows him on a personal level. Undoubtedly, those who worshiped and adored him are bereaved, but all others need to stop pretending to give a damn. Hmm, maybe I am hating on him. RIP Michael Jackson.
